Application for Academic Year 2014-2015 will commence on 14 October 2013.

Please note the application closing date for the various qualifications as follows:

You would be considered an international applicant if you are neither a Singapore Citizen nor Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) and not presenting the qualifications listed below:

·         Singapore-Cambridge GCE A level

·         Diploma from a Polytechnic in Singapore

·         International Baccalaureate

·         NUS High School Diploma

Admission requirements and closing dates

If you are an international applicant seeking admission to NUS, you should have completed or are completing high school, that is, at least twelve years of general education in the year of application. You may view the list of acceptable high school qualifications here.

Please choose the high school qualifications that you are presenting:

1.     'A' Level (AQA, Cambridge, Edexcel, London, Maldives)

2.     Advanced Placement (AP)

3.     Australian High School (Australian Capital Territory Exam, New South Wales HSC, Queensland Senior Certificate, South Australian Certificate of Education/Matriculation, Victoria Certificate of Education, Western Australia Year 12)

4.     Brunei/Hong Kong 'A' Levels

5.     European Baccalaureate

6.     French Baccalaureate (FB) Diploma

7.     German Abitur

8.     Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) [With effect from 2012]

9.     Indian Standard 12 (Central and ISCE Boards)

10.   Indian Standard 12 (State and other Boards)

11.   Indonesian SMA UAN (Ebtanas)

12.   International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma

13.   Mauritius HSC

14.   NZ University Entrance Exam, Bursaries and Scholarship Examination or NZ National Certificate of Educational Achievement Level 3

15.   Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) / Canadian Pre-U (CPU)

16.   PRC National College Entrance Examination or Gao Kao

17.   Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)

18.   Swiss Matura/ Swiss Federal Maturity Certificate

19.   Turkish High School

20.   Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)

21.   Vietnamese High School Graduation Examination

22.   Other Qualifications (eg American High School Diploma / Bangladeshi HSC / Filipino High School / Myanmar High School / Mathayom 6 (Thai High School) / Pakistani Intermediate / Sri Lanka ‘A’ Level / West Africa ‘A’ Levels)

* Applicants presenting accredited Diplomas obtained from a Polytechnic in Singapore should apply under Polytechnic Diplomas from Singapore in February 2012.
* Foundation, Matriculation and Twinning and Home study programmes are not suitable for admission purposes to NUS.
