You guys loved the first part of this list, so we’ve decided to make a second! Here’s 5 more of the best Korea-based collaboration sneakers that you may not have known!

Let’s get it!

1. ‘Diadora X Kith’ Inteprid “From Seoul To Rio”

Inspired by the 2016 Rio Olympics, cult streetwear designer Ronnie Fieg (owner of KITH) collaborated with Diadora to give some life to their long neglected Inteprid sneaker. We love the color-blocked pastel that is all the rage nowadays, as with the Air Max 1-97 "Sean Wotherspoon".

The shoe premium upper is vividly colour-blocked to reflect the vibrant cities of Seoul and Rio, and features custom packaging befitting of it’s ‘Made In Italy’ heritage - it is certainly one of the most best Korean sneaker collaborations by materials alone.

The shoe was limited to a run of 500 pieces, which sold out in KITH’s NYC store.

2. Reebok Instapump Fury “Seoul”

As part of Reebok’s Instapump ‘City Pack’, they prepared 4 colorways of the iconic sneaker - saluting the metropolitan cities of Asia. The shoes are distinctly different according to the city they represent. More specifically,

“This work is inspired by Asian cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, and Seoul, and the fashion and culture of each city is applied to details such as heels and insoles. Characters of each city are embroidered on the heel part, and sneakers of each city and longitude and latitude symbols of areas deeply related to fashion are printed on the midsole.” - atmos

The four cities represented in the pack.

3. 'BT21 X Sketchers' Uno

The cute characters created by BTS took the world by storm when they first came out. For months, merchandise of the mascots were out of stock in Korea, but now, Sketchers has teamed up with BT21 to create a lineup of colourful Air Max-style sneakers! That surely makes it one of the top Korean sneakers in recent memory.

Each of the 8 designs of the Uno silhouette represent each BT21 character (and by extension, each member), and one for Van, representing the BTS ARMY. Out of the shoes on this list, this is likely to be the most widely available, so snap them up now if you're interested!

Each shoe has the colour palette of the respective character, as well as subtle detailed type and iconography.

4. 'thisisneverthat X New Balance' 827 & 997

Korean streetwear mainstay ‘thisisneverthat’ teamed up with New Balance to create a line of utilitarian sportswear that the American brand is famous for, with a street twist from the Korean label. With it came a collection of casual threads and sneakers that exude a laid-back look.

The 827 and 997 are known as some of the comfiest shoes money can buy, and with it being one of the top Korean sneaker colourway collabs (in my opinion), so you can be sure that you’ll be chilling in style with them on!

5. Kang Daniel X Puma “RS-X CUBE”

In January of this year, Kang Daniel collaborated with Puma to launch a special take on the RS-X 3. Fans of the singer were extremely happy to know that the sneakers came with multiple perks, including special unreleased videos, new merchandise, and a virtual video call with the idol himself.

Purchases of the shoe also came with applications for a special fan sign event inside the shoeboxes, making a nice touch in a world where artist collaborations seem to get more and more stale.

Exclusive merchandise comes with the shoes for the all-round VIP fan experience.
