Out of Singapore's 15 new cases,

there were none in the community,

following the uplifting trend of 

community cases averaging fewer

than one case a day.

The nation's nightlife, entertainment

and travel industries are greatly hit,

and many are looking towards this

drop in cases to bring on Phase 3,

which will allow more businesses to reopen,

signalling a state of new normalcy.

In Korea, more hopeful news

arrives with the implementation of

stricter social distancing measures

with the new case count at its lowest

in 48 days, even during the spike.

Time will tell if the impending Chuseok

holidays will prove to be tough to contain,

but Korea has managed to dodge

another bullet through diligent

implementation of virus curbs.

We hope that both countries can

continue to further decrease virus

case counts, as we look towards

a brighter future!
