Want to watch a movie?

Well, you might have to download an app,

or have a TraceTogether token with you!

Starting today (26th October),

entry to cinemas will be limited

to those with the TraceTogether app

or token, and will no longer allow the

oh-so-familiar scanning of QR code/NRIC.

There is a grace period of three weeks,

however, so you'll still be able to use

the normal methods for now!

It is reported that about half of

Singapore's population is already

using TraceTogether - with a slated

requirement of at least 70 percent

before we can move onto Phase 3. 

With a reported spike in token collection

over the month of October since its inception,

it looks like we're well on our way to adopting

the new TraceTogether system!
