Following the announcement of Sunday's

case count of 58, South Korea is announcing

that they will be moving on to the least

restrictive social distancing tier - Level 1,

from today!

The announcement came yesterday,

the final day of the holiday weekends.

Though benchmarks were not met,

the South Korean government stated

that the citizens and economy were

considered during the decision.

"People are exhausted from keeping the

social distancing orders for a prolonged

period. The negative effects on the economy

have been taken into consideration as well."

said Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun.

We hope that South Korea continues

to experience a low case count, and

that the situation stays under control!
