It's been a really long time since I last had good Korean style pig trotter and when I won the $50 coupon I immediately thought of visiting a jok-bal(족발) restaurant for my fix. I did a search on KORDOTSIN's partners list and found out about Dal-in(달인) and since the restaurant is conveniently located at Amoy Street I decided to check them out on a weekend evening. 

Their restaurant was easy to locate and it was only around 5 mins' walking distance from Telok Ayer MRT Station. My first impression of the restaurant was that the staff were really friendly and enthusiastic. First impression matters and safe to say I was already looking forward to a good meal.

One thing which really impressed me was the staff was conscientious enough to reheat our kimchi stew as our trotters took some time to be served. They took the initiative to reheat the kimchi stew not once but twice! The steamed egg was on the house and the side dishes were really good. The trotters carried a nice chewy texture with none of the smell you get from restaurants that don't do them as well. Last but not least, Melona ice cream are at 2 for $1 when you dine with them!

Our meal of large trotters with kimchi stew, big bottle of Cass beer, rice and ice cream set us back by around $90. Not a bad price considering that the food was enough to feed 3-4 people. Would definitely come back when my next trotter cravings kick in.
