Today, i'm going to introduce one of Korean traditional game, Janggi!

Janggi is the native chess of Korea, is derived from the same source as Xiangqi, the chess of China.

Janggi has much in common with Xiangqi, yet it carries on some characteristics of an earlier version of Chinese chess
it also has some very interesting.
But I want to compare is Janggi and chess.

Janggi is like a chess Janggi and chess is have a lot in common
because they use the soldiers and kings. chess have a 6 tile, pawn , rook ,knight ,bishop, queen,king and Janggi have a 7 tile, tanks ,cannon, knight, soldiers,king and queen
Janggi and chess is same rule. The king dies, the game is end. chess and Janggi Is very similar to the game. Is a very strategic game chess and Janggi is the basic principle is the same. but In the game, the operating method is different because The culture in the game.
for example, Janggi is Protect the king made of the castle form, but chess is The aggressive tactics.
because The West is strong and the pioneering spirit,but Eastern was the opposite.
Janggi is a feeling of defense, Chess is a feeling that the attack.
I see these two games can know the culture of each country. Janggi is no queen(women) but Chess has a queen. What this means, Long ago Western has a female power. but in East don't have woman power.Very interesting. Chess and Janggi are similar but different game
Understanding the culture is the game more fun. so I want to teach you Janggi a lot of My KORdotSIN friends
