It’s full of zombies.

We’re only kidding – but please don’t be put off by Train To Busan – the city is actually really lovely!

First of all, the weather in Busan is great.

Milder winters mean that it doesn’t get too cold like in other cities, which is perfect for us who are used to Singapore’s blazing heat.

Due to Busan’s seaside location, however, it is also known for being incredibly windy, which could be a good thing for some people!

If you love food, Busan might be one of your best choices, with quality local restaurants available at very affordable prices everywhere you go.

Fresh seafood is usually on the menu, and unlike Singapore, it won’t break the bank!

It is also known for its many happenings, especially conventions.

If you enjoy entertainment and networking, you’ll love Busan’s many events such as art exhibits, gaming conventions and sporting events.

You will find that the people of Busan are really friendly and straightforward, and will be some of the best friends you’ll ever meet.

If all that sounds good, Busan might be the city for you!

  • I love the wide range of seafood available in Busan! I have fond memories of the eel fried rice that I had there when I visited Korea in 2018 with my friends~
