If you're like us, you have been stuck at home, and your IG feed is looking pretty stale.
It's time to spice it up! Today, we'll be introducing the most INSTAGRAM-ABLE places in Singapore - with a Korean twist!
Are you ready? Let's get it!
1. Koon Seng Road
Thought of as Singapore's 'most colourful street', Koon Seng Road is a street full of colorful houses with a rich history behind every one of them! It's usually populated by tourists and Singaporeans who want that gorgeous and vibrant pastel tone in their photos!
Credit : Big Seven Travel for this AWESOME shot with the buildings! Talk about a way to spice up your feed!
You can get there via the MRT (Paya Lebar or Eunos), but you'll be facing quite a long walk. How about taking a taxi/Grab instead?
Your feet will thank you and you'll feel extra ready for a photoshoot after hopping out!
2. Redhill MRT Station
What?
Yes, we're not kidding - The Redhill station is peculiar in certain ways, one of which is - it's decked out in pink!
We mean, the walls, pillars, heck, even the ceiling is pink in colour. It recently got a lot of attention for looking like the set out of BLACKPINK's As If It Was Your Last!
Here's a helpful side-by-side comparison from Mothership
(left : Redhill MRT, right : BLACKPINK's M/V, obviously...)
The station has gotten many curious people going down to check it out - obviously, the station doesn't look quite as neon in-person (in fact, it looks closer to a ghastly cough syrup-like pink), but a quick filter will fix that for your shots!
Pro Tip : Come in the day-time, where the lighting is much better for the walls and yourself!
In our opinion, even the concourse looks awesome - straight out of a Japan-inspired neon fever dream.
3. Marina Square "Maze"
If the previous two entries were too colourful for you, you'd love the series of 'mazes' in Marina Square!
It's actually a bunch of emergency exits (because why on Earth would a mall build a maze for its patrons, right), but it doubles up as the perfect scene for more monochromatic outfits!
The surroundings are gorgeous too, if you're looking to simply take photos of the place!
Pro Tip : With the geometric shapes in the maze, it gives you a lot of freedom to explore different perspectives and views for photo-taking! Get creative!
Those were our picks for the most INSTAGRAMMABLE K-Places in Singapore! We hope it gives you inspiration to head out there and snap away!
