With the COVID situation getting under

control, the Singapore government is

looking to strengthen the current tracing

solutions in anticipation for our

resumption to a New Normal!

We already have SafeEntry in place

for contact tracing, but there will soon be

another measure in place!

According to The Straits Times,

TraceTogether tokens will be distributed nationwide

from next Monday (Sept 14), starting in the

Jalan Besar and Tanjong Pagar districts.

The districts were chosen as they have a

higher proportion of seniors, who may have

difficulty in using the existing TraceTogether

mobile application.

The Government will also be starting

a pilot programme requiring people

to use either the free TraceTogether tokens

or the app to check in at certain venues.

We think the device looks like an

Airpods case, and we welcome any

measures if it means we get back to

normalcy sooner!
